Developed by Howard Glasser in 1992, the Nurtured Heart Approach® (NHA) helps children and adults redirect intense or challenging energy into a positive force. Rather than just managing behavior, NHA inspires growth. By consistently acknowledging people when things are going right, it builds deep connections and transforms difficult behaviors into personal strengths (Inner Wealth™) using three core principles called the 3 Stands™.
